We're looking for a Smart Meter Campaign Manager

As a campaign manager you will hold a strategic role, working across the business with all departments, including the marketing and the tech team, to build systems and processes & procedures to assist in delivering a smooth 2020 smart meter rollout plan. 
The campaign manager will be responsible for executing customer engagement campaigns in specific regions, working with senior managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure resource and capacity are in place and fulfilled to assist in delivering our smart install commitment across the UK. The role will be responsible for working with internal and external colleagues to develop strategies and plans to drive efficiencies and tangible operational improvements to Octopus Energy customers; In the role, you will use the insight from previous campaigns to provide options and recommendations, to improve future performance of campaign delivery and track the performance uplift of said improvements.

What you'll do

  • You will forecast resource requirements, bookings and meters together with installers and third parties;
  • You will be responsible for scheduling and resource planning to support the operation teams, contact centres and installers;
  • You will be responsible for implementing and managing process controls to comply with regulatory requirements i.e. SMICOP etc
  • You will be responsible for implementing regular campaigns to support both Octopus and installer objectives;
  • You will manage the delivery of reporting requirements, internal management, and daily operational reporting requirements;
  • You will analyse data to measure all campaign performance and provide evidence of successes and key issues, recommending the appropriate and required actions;
  • You will communicate the current status of the overall function, highlighting successes and areas under development as requested

What you'll need

  • Working experience of the GB energy or utilities sector
  • To be organised with experience of managing multiple pieces of work simultaneously
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • The ability to develop and maintain good relationships at all levels, within and outside of the organisation
  • The ability to be adaptable to change, learn quickly and enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas in a compelling and confident way
  • Strong analytical background with advanced MS Excel knowledge, T-SQL and other database languages
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Confident in presenting data and making recommendations
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A self-starter mindset, to turn your ideas and concepts into practical actions and plans
